Polished

Polished pieces, cut and finished from raw material rather than sold as they came out of the ground. Obsidian, malachite, amethyst, ocean jasper and labradorite in palmstones, slabs, spheres and freeforms. Polishing shows the interior of a stone, so banding, chatoyancy and the play of colour in labradorite appear that a rough surface would hide.
